KWS Cricket Ground is an astro wicket pitch located within Katherine Warington Secondary School.
Parking: Cars must park in the main school car park at the front of the building. Parking at the
Sports Hall is not permitted unless you have a booking in the sports hall. Do not drive through gates
adjacent to the school or onto the yellow footpaths – these are not designed to take the weight of a
car.
Access for Coaches: Car access to the top of the hill/playing area is for Coaches cars only to carry
equipment and bags etc. via the correct access road close to the main road exit.
Getting to the pitch: Players should walk to the pitch from the Main School Car Park via the footpath
up the hill. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the pitch
Facilities: There are no toilets at the top of the hill. Toilets are in the Sports Hall as shown on the map
Due to the location, it is recommended to bring warm clothing as it can get windy
The site must be vacated by 20:00
KWS School Rules
Please ensure you drive and park sensibly when entering and leaving the school site.
Please inform all your drivers that traffic must adhere to the 5mph limit.
